Chris & Sondra | Nash Farms | Hampton, Georgia Wedding
On Saturday April 27, 2019 I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of Chris and Sondra Aguayo at Nash Farms in Hampton Georgia. For these two veterans, the site of a civil war battlefield was just perfect. Large oak trees spanned the venue along with white barns, rolling fields of grass, a large pond, and wildflowers! We had such a blast running all over this beautiful historic site to capture portraits for their day.
Chris, an Army veteran, and Sondra, an Air Force veteran, met in August 2017 through a dating site and were together by October. They both knew the moment they met that they had found the one and their wedding day showed that. After combining her two cats and his two dogs into one household, they knew there was only one last step to making it all official!
Their whole day was full of laughter, tears, hugs, and true love. These two were all smiles and giggles as they went through their portraits and ceremony. I don't think I've ever been at a ceremony with so much laughter! It was very refreshing to see how connected they are. They had friends and family show up from all over the United States and had a party worthy of the travel time.
My little Georgia heart was all a flutter with the country details! Both bride and groom wore boots and the groom had his cowboy hat on too! Sondra's dress was split in the front to show her shoes but still had that feminine touch with all those beautiful lace details. They had a BBQ feast and a wedding cake topped with T-Rex's with a bow-tie and veil! On one of their dates, they had a special bottle of whiskey engraved with their names and sealed with their thumbprints in wax. They saved that bottle until this day and broke into it before the ceremony to celebrate!
I couldn't have asked for a better couple to kickstart my 2019 wedding season. Thanks for being so great and easy going guys! I'm sorry I drug you all over the place for the perfect light, but I hope the pictures make up for it!
